The purpose of the Northwest Indiana Excellence in Theatre Foundation (NIETF) is to recognize outstanding and excellent achievement in regional theatre in Northwest Indiana and to foster a deeper sense of regional theatre cooperation.
 When you become a member, your support helps promote community theatre through the publication and distribution of information through our website and printed materials. You are also supporting the Annual Foundation's Awards ceremony itself. In return you receive a discount on tickets to the ceremony and written recognition of your gift in the ceremony program and on our website. Naturally your donation is tax deductible. Each membership is valid for a period of one year and one ceremony.

For Theatres
Is your theatre group interested in becoming a group member? A theatre may be considered for membership when:
A) The theatre is an organized company whose prime purpose is to produce community theatre
B) It has no paid actors or actresses
C) The company has completed two seasons
D) It holds publicized open auditions for all roles
