The Colton Darr Memorial Arts Fund Telethon

    7:00 pm
    12/01/2020
In May of 2020, Regional Performing Arts lost Colton Darr, one of our talented young actors. Colton had a condition called Long QT Syndrome that caused him to suffer a sudden cardiac arrest. After this loss, Regional wanted to take action to both honor Colt’s memory and continue his legacy by finding a way for students to participate in the performing arts who might not have the financial means to do so. Through a partnership with the Porter County Community Foundation, the Colton Darr Memorial Arts Fund was born. The goal of this fund is to raise an untouched principal of at least $10,000, which will result in roughly $500 of awardable monies each year to help students afford performing arts experiences wherever they may go.
Join us LIVE on YouTube for the first ever Colton Darr Memorial Arts Fund Telethon! The evening will be filled with a variety of musical acts in a loving tribute to Colt’s memory.
If you would like to contribute to Colt’s Memorial fund, text “COLT” to 44-321 or visit https://regionalperformingarts.org/the-colton-darr…/ for more information

    7:00 pm
    12/04/2020

Both love and improv are all about relationships. Two improvisers delve into what makes real relationships work through the lens of improv

How can “Yes And” make your relationship better (or worse)? Can object work be a way to communicate with your partner? Can volunteering your theatre-adverse mate to participate in an improv show be a good move? Find out!
If you’ve got a relationship question you’d like to hear us talk about, please DM Nelson Velazquez, the Improductions, LLC page, or email me at nelson@improductionsllc.com. All submitter information will be kept confidential.

    7:00 pm
    12/11/2020

Also included are old favorite stories such as “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” and “A Christmas Carol,” updated and aimed right for the funny bone, of course. Throw in a wandering group of carolers who cough and sneeze on cue, three kids trying their best to be wise men in the Christmas play, and a riotous lecture on Christmas etiquette, and you’re in for an evening of holiday laughter and warmth
