Our Fifth Annual All Day Music Festival Returns On Saturday, August 4th! Rock the Block is a collaboration between Porter County Museum and Memorial Opera House and will support the operations of both organizations.

All during the day, enjoy continuous music acts on the Go Baby Performance Stage. A complete list of performers will be coming so check back often for more information.

Evening Indoor Concert
featuring Blessid Union Of Souls. Doors Open At 7:00 PM and Concert Begins At 8:00 PM and All Ages Welcome. Admission is $25 Per Person with Advance Reservations Recommended. Full Service Cash Bar Available.

About Blessid Union Of Souls
Blessid Union of Souls is an American alternative rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio that was formed in 1990 by friends Jeff Pence and Eliot Sloan. The band’s first studio album, Home, had success with its lead single, “I Believe”. The song popularized the band and became their greatest # 1 hit, along with other top 10 hits, “Hey Leonardo (She Likes Me for Me)”, “Let Me Be the One”. BOUS didn’t stop there; they have gone on to produce several top 20 such as “Oh, Virginia and “I Wanna Be There”. This timeless band has accolades with a Gold Album, a Gold Single and has been featured on numerous TV shows and movies.

    NIETF presents the 5th Annual Theatrepalooza Free Theatre Festival
    Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 2-4:30 pm
    Theatre Northwest at Indiana University Northwest (located in the Arts and Sciences building on the campus of IUN/IvyTech on Broadway at 35th Avenue, Gary)

    Theatrepalooza features an afternoon of free theatrical entertainment presented by theatres across Northwest Indiana. Short excerpts of comedies, dramas, musicals, improv, Shakespeare, reader's theatre, and so much more.

    Did you know there are more than 20 theatres in Northwest Indiana. You don't have to travel to Chicago to experience exceptional live theatre. It's right here, just around the corner, and it features your neighbor, your nurse, your teacher, your administrative assistant, your lawyer, and your contractor.

    Be sure to visit the booths in the lobby before or after the show in order to learn more about what each theatre offers including volunteer opportunities, classes, auditions, upcoming shows, and special events.
