Susy Hendrix is a blind Greenwich Village housewife who becomes the target of three con-men searching for a doll stuffed with heroin, which her husband Sam unwittingly transported from Canada as a favor to a woman who has since been murdered. Complicating matters, is the fact that a little girl living in an apartment upstairs has stolen the doll. Intent on retrieving the heroine, con man, Roat, leads his companion of thugs into thinking they will be rich if they find the doll. In the end, Roat turns on his companions and sets his sights on murder.
