Story Synopsis:

Lawyer Abigail Gersten is brilliant, Jewish, and a First Amendment absolutist. Professor Bernard Cooper is courtly, polite, and dedicated to convincing the world that the Holocaust was a Jewish hoax. When the government prosecutes him, he turns to Abby for help. Offended by censorship in any form, she takes the case but gets quickly drawn into a moral quagmire. Opposing her is an idealistic prosecutor and a venerable Holocaust survivor who call her loyalties into question and make her confront the differences between what is legal and what is right. The conflict that ensues concerns issues of history, memory, free speech, and how the stories we tell about ourselves determine who we are.

    Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

    By Edward Albee

    Directed by Andy Leahy

    Performance Dates: March 10 thru 26, 2023

George, a professor at a small college, and his wife, Martha, have just returned home, drunk from a Saturday night party. Martha announces, amidst general profanity, that she has invited a young couple—an opportunistic new professor at the college and his shatteringly naïve new bride—to stop by for a nightcap. When they arrive the charade begins. The drinks flow and suddenly inhibitions melt. It becomes clear that Martha is determined to seduce the young professor, and George couldn't care less. But underneath the edgy banter, which is crossfire between both couples, lurks an undercurrent of tragedy and despair.

Cameron doesn’t know what to write for an honors English assignment on the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm. Luckily, friend Jaime has the solution... watch TV versions of the tales! But when Cameron points the unusual looking remote at the screen, expecting Netflix or Apple TV, instead they find the wackiest assortment of fairy-tale themed programming! There’s a Project Runway style competition show called “Project Ballgown,” a Frog Prince soap opera called “The Green and the Beautiful,” a game show hosted by Magic Mirror called, ”Who’s The Fairest One of All?,” and a sitcom starring Rumplestiltskin! The teens also find news stories, a Law and Order style show, a movie trailer, and of course, commercials!
